Yes, you may password protect your directories from within cPanel. Control PanelIs a manual available for the control panel? A manual for cPanel is available at http://www.cpanel.net/docs/cp/index.html. Where do I go to log in to my control panel? Go to http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel. DNSHow long does it take for a domain name to begin working? It typically takes between 24 and 48 hours for a domain name to propogate. However, it can occasionally take longer. What do I set my domain's nameservers to? Nameserver information is available in your welcome email. If you have lost your email you may email support to request your nameserver information. FTPWhere can I download an FTP client? We recommend FileZilla, a free multi-platform FTP client. Why doesn't my ftp password change when I change my cPanel password? Please allow up to 24 hours for your FTP password to sync with your cPanel password. Files I upload are not showing up on the website. Why? Make sure they are being uploaded into the correct folder. For a file to be accessible through a web browser, it must be in the public_html folder or a subfolder of public_html. How do I create email accounts? To create an email account log in to your control panel, click on the Mail button, and select "Add/Remove/Manage Accounts." What do I put for the incoming and outgoing mail server? For both incoming and outgoing mailserver use mail.yourdomain.com, where yourdomain.com is your sites domain name. Where do I go to check emails in my browser?
